Uh-oh!

That's our daughter's new favorite sound. She gets a big smile on her face when she says it; it must be a game to her! This morning, she was sitting in her high chair and was drinking her bottle. She held it out over the floor and said "uh oh!" before she let go of it. That was confirmation for me that she drops her bottle on purpose to get our attention! She is really starting to develop a personality and a sense of humor. I didn't realize that it started so young! She's getting to be such a cutie!!

Today's music in my head

Ok, so this morning I asked my hubby to give me more CDs for my car from his car so that I wasn't stuck with the same CD that I had been listening to for the past week. My commute to and from work is an hour, so I've listened to this CD a LOT. I finally get some new CDs in my car... but I still have the other songs in my head. They're just so catchy; I can't understand why a major label hasn't picked him up yet.

Check out Harry Francis's songs at http://www.harryfrancis.com/ and click on Music. It lists the songs from his album, Hi-fi Virgin. My faves on there are "So Alive" and the demo version of "Until We Meet Again" (It's a hidden track in the album version). Hubby likes "Pole Position."

I hear that Harry's been getting airplay in other countries, but for some reason not here in the US.

Already an interesting Wednesday

I was driving through our development and reached the end where I turn right, and all of a sudden, I see a bird attack my car out of nowhere! He perched himself right in front of me and gave me a look that I thought only humans could give. He was MAD! Then he started pecking at my windsheild. When he got no reaction, he moved to my passenger side mirror and started pecking at that! I think he flew away after that, but he may have been on the roof.

I've seen this bird before on someone else's van, but I thought it was just a perching thing. I think this bird is protecting a nest closeby. I don't know what it hopes to accomplish by attacking cars, but it certainly made me jump!

Not as exciting on my drive in, this Jeep nearly changed lanes into me. I don't know why people don't LOOK before changing lanes! You're not the only car on the road, y'know. If you were, you'd be at work by now!
