WW Thursday

Progress: +1.4pounds
Current Weight: 207.4 pounds
Total weight loss so far: 12.2 pounds

Mishaps
Hubby and I went to the Melting Pot on Saturday for our anniversary, and it pretty much went downhill from there. I didn't write anything down after that. Another day, I had Chinese food... including Fried Wontons. Ugh. Totally not worth the aggrivation, but I was weak this week. I think part of it may have to do with the fact that it's "that time of month." Oh well.

Kudos
I drank a TON of water this week and remembered my multivitamin on most days.

Weekly commitment: Write everything down, drink lots of water, and take my multivitamin. Since I didn't do so hot on this last week, I'm renewing my commitment!

New words

Little Miss never ceases to surprise me every day! This weekend, Hubby and I went to Target to get some new shoes for her ever-growing feet. Hubby picked up some stickers, because Little Miss has started to show a liking for stickers. Then he asked her, "Can you say 'sticker'?" Then she replied, "tickoooo!" I jumped back about 10 feet! That was the funniest thing!

Later in the day, Hubby asked Little Miss (while pointing to the sticker), "What's this?" She replied, "Wass diss?" So... Little Miss has reached her mimicking stage. But she does ask for stickers by name now!!

WW Thursday

Progress: -3.4 pounds
Current Weight: 206 pounds
Total weight loss so far: 13.6 pounds

Oh, and if there's anyone who happens to be reading this and doesn't know me, I'm 5'9", which means my highest ideal weight for my height and build (I have a large frame) is 162 pounds. I'd like to shoot for 160, and it would be a bonus to be even lighter than that, but I also don't want to look anarexic.

So on to the next section.

Mishaps
I was pretty good, so I don't think I had any mishaps for the whole week.

Kudos
I wrote everything down and I drank a lot of water. I also increased my fruits and veggie intake.

Weekly commitment: Write everything down, drink lots of water, and take my multivitamin.

WW Thursday

Ok, I'm going to start a weekly thing called "WW Thursday" aka Weight Watchers Thursday. My officemate and I attend Weight Watchers meetings every Thursday. It's very easy for us to get to the meeting because it's in the same building. So, there are no excuses for us not to go!

I figure adding to my blog about my progress and mishaps will help me stay on track. :)

I started WW on May 4, 2006 and weighed in at 219.6. My heaviest I've been at a non-pregnant weight.

My progress so far:
Date Weight Loss/Gain
5/11 214.8 -4.8
5/18 213.4 -1.4
5/25 212.6 -0.8
6/1 210.2 -2.4
6/8 209.2 -1.0
6/13 209.4 +0.2

Total weight loss so far: 10.2 pounds

Mishaps:
I had a funnel cake at a concert on Tuesday (boy, those are packed full of calories!). Plus, I didn't write anything down this week. I didn't drink enough water. I slacked on my fruits and veggies and reached for the salty and sweet snacks instead. I also broke down yesterday and bought a medium-sized french fries. I shared a couple with my daughter, but not enough to cut my calories down!

Kudos: I walked with a co-worker to lunch (about 3/4 of a mile one-way) one day. I chose strawberries over ice cream last night.

Weekly Commitment: Write everything down and drink more water.

New words this week

So Little Miss has decided to say a few more words this week. Her favorite food is bananas, so she'll point to them in the basket (even after finishing a whole banana) and say "nana."

Last night, she took hubby and me by surprise. He said "it's bath time!" and she responded with "Bah Tie!"

She's getting better about calling me "mama" and her daddy "dada." She also loves to growl like a monster, especially if you do it first.

This weekend, she amazed us. I went to Target on Saturday and picked up a couple of new bath toys. One of them is the Fisher Price Sesame Street Tub Pots and Pans. The first time she saw it, she wasn't exactly sure what to do. I showed her how to use them and how to put them away. Then she spent the rest of her bath time taking the "pots" off the color-coded pegs and hanging them back up. That was all she wanted to do! It was as if she was doing it over and over until she did it perfectly. The next day, my hubby gave her a bath. He decided to put them on the wrong color, and Little Miss took them off and put them in the right place! I assume that means she understands how to coordinate colors, but maybe that means she's just a little OCD. :)

The next task I did on Sunday was put her little adult-steered trike together. She wasn't quite sure what to do, but once we showed her that her feet belonged on the pedals, she would place her feet back up there when they fell off! After our initial stroll around the cul-de-sac, we took her off the trike, and she tried to climb back on. Once she figured that out, she got off and then got back on again!

Man, people in today's world can learn a lot from my daughter. If at first you don't succeed, try try again!!
